Volunteering:

The Blue Trail river walk explores the last stretch of the Hennops River, but sadly to this day is still the most polluted river in South Africa.
Although we try our very best to clean up after every flooding, unfortunately the cities pollution has left its mark on our trail and this is a stark reminder that our environmental problems just don’t wash away!

We’re simply asking for your assistance in creating awareness around river pollution.

If you want to make a difference we would be happy to refund your hiking fee for collecting only one bag of rubbish.
Fill one black bag, leave it for us to collect, take a picture of the bag and send to us for a full refund.

Your effort is much appreciated, thank you!
